| Aaaand I found an awesome website in the pages that has sizes up to 20, and is pretty cheap. I have NO IDEA how anything fits, but the website is metrostyle.com (which I am in no way affiliated with).
Also, the July issue (that I have) has an interview with Whitney, the first "plus sized" winner of America's Next Top Model. She seems cool, but most importantly she is wearing super cute bathing suits.
Anyways. Looks like some pretty cute stuff, even if it doesn't go up very high in sizes.

| The last two times I've had sex, I've noticed afterward I am bleeding. The bleeding is not very heavy, but obviously noticeable. Usually takes about an hour to stop. The flow is similar to that of the very last day of my period, where I don't really need a tampon because it's so light. At first I just though I was getting my period early, but it stopped, and now it's happened again after sex.
I'm looking it up online but wanted to know your all's opinions. Ever happen before to you? Thoughts on what it could be? If this normal?
Also I'll mention the sex was not particularly rough, I believe I was on top most of the time, but that's fairly normal. And there was no pain or discomfort.

| two questions (that may or may not be of the silly variety):
1. I have a 2inch "memory foam" bed topper for my bed. Does anyone know of any way to clean the thing? It could use a good cleaning, beyond the "febreeze it until it smells good". I'm fairly certain it would be too big for my washing machine, even if you can clean it in there. Any ideas?
2. The other night we made some lovely vodka soaked watermelon. We ate up all the watermelon, leaving the vodka juice. Right now I have this leftover "watermelon vodka" sitting in a tupperware container in the fridge. Would this be adequate storage? Do I need to use it up by a certain date.

| well i went shopping. and i got some cool new things. yay! who says that getting older and being a goth chick are mutually exclusive? i can still rock the corset look. and i can still rock an actual corset too darn it! i was hoping for a new skirt, and i actually found one. which was awesome. and, learning from past mistakes, i got one that i think won't stretch out so much it falls off after a few hours! of course, these outfits are all torrid. which seems to be the only place i find stuff that fits me! | |

| Hey all! Was wondering if anyone has shopped at curvaceouschicwoman.com and what you thought about their clothing/shoes/etc? True to size, quality, service....how was it? They have some super cute shoes that I could add to my wardrobe for a night out. http://curvaceouschicwoman.com/?subid=1894&source=pjnWhat about Red Dot Boutique on ebay? http://stores.ebay.com/Red-Dot-BoutiqueI've seen some of their stuff and they do have some cute sundresses or going out type of tops. Any reviews would be helpful! Thanks! | |

| Yes, that would be swimsuit of the day. I just went SWIMMING! For the first time in 15 YEARS! I bought this cute TWO PIECE swimsuit from a lovely Fatshionista, whose name I no longer have because I switched ISPs and lost all my old emails. But I LOVE IT! Even my chlorine hair. :-) | |

| its a friend's birthday soon, and i am a veteran proscrastinator, so i made her a fabric clutch bag in 4 hours, from four to five in the afternoon then from 9 onwards after coming back from the gran's.
there is a lack of nice burnt sienna orange cloth in SIngapore, it took a while to find this japanese print cotton. dimensions are 10x6x2 inches. using satin for the inside is not exactly the best idea,Satin is a slipper and knave! i need to buy less slippery lining fabrics. iron on interfacing is terribly useful, the base was lined thrice to add stiffness.

| the workshop today was outstanding, i can really make these things work now. these my the end of the day hanging out, don't wanna go home just yet models. yeah, i think this looks like was damn good day. | |

| I've read a lot of little snippets recently about avoiding soy while pregnant, especially if carrying a boy because of the estrogen-like hormones. My 14-month-old son LOVES edamame and I just wanted some confirmation (or other advice) that I'm not messing with his hormonal balance?
Edit: I also enjoy soybeans and some other soy-based products. Am I introducing my newborn to high estrogen levels through breastmilk?

| okay, so this just started happening today and I'm more than a little confused/freaked out/loving the whole situation.
In the past eight months or so, I've only been sexually active three times (two of those time being in the last two weeks. The most recent was on thursday). The last time it happened, I got put into a position that was a totally new angle for me, but it was good. We used a condom.
Flash forward to today, when I went to pee and noticed light red/brown-ish stains in my underwear. I've been on the pill for at least 5 years (i'm 21) and had my period regularly about two weeks ago. I should be getting it again in about a week. Although, I should mention that I've been pretty irregular with taking my pill lately, I do usually take it within four hours of the right time. I can honestly say I've never noticed any spotting in between periods for as long as I've been getting it. Anywho, when I started to pee, I felt the most INTENSE pressure on the inner, front wall of my vag. I've been drinking a lot of water today, and since about four in the afternoon, I've continued to feel the pressure when I've just been sitting around, although it's not as intense as when I pee. It's not necessarily bad pressure... it actually feels quite good. Anyway, I wipe and there's blood on the tp, sometimes small clots.
So... WTF? I honestly have no idea what is going on right now, and while the pressure is good, it's kind of freaking me out in an "OMGWTFBBQ" sort of way. I mean, my parents visited me today, and I felt more than a little awkward sitting there with a touch of the 'gasm in my pants, haha. - Mood:confused

| I have started to feed my 3 month old beech nuts rice cereal with her morning and beech nuts rice cereal and beech nuts baby apple sauce with her bedtime feeding. It takes a long time, but she does end up eating most of it. How can I make this go more smoothly for both of us? Edit @ 9:44pm- Though I do respect your choices to WAIT to start feeding I feel my daughter is ready. I am going by the BabyCenter.com Age-By-Age Guide which suggests starting cereal at 4 months. Hailey has been chewing on things and drinking ALOT so I thought she'd be ready. I still give her bottles with the cereal, of course! And since she's liking the taste I know she's ready. - Mood:blah

| I'm considering changing from my microfibre panties/knickers to something else. For many years I wore Jockey for Her cotton. I found microfibre when I was going on a long European trip and wanted ones that dried quickly. They are mostly fine, but I have noticed that lately they seem to get sticky/damp in the heat and humidity. Is there some new and amazing fabric that is comfy, draws moisture away and provides no-panty line? | |

| I am a new-ish user of the DivaCup and the IUD, and I am happy with both. But does anyone have concerns about the risk of PID with menstrual cup use? Although nothing is indicated in my reading on the DivaCup, PID becomes more of a risk for any IUD user due to the new channel for bacteria to travel up. I, of course, wash my DivaCup and my hands thoroughly and empty it every 8-10 hours to be on the safe side, so I'm sure I am as safe as one can be. However, read below:
"The DivaCup is not suggested for use with an Intrauterine Device (IUD)...If you are concerned about PID or have symptoms of a PID, please discontinue use of any menstrual cup. As with all gynecological concerns, please consult with your physician." (from info@divacup.com)
If I am concerned?? Should I be concerned is what I want to know. Is there increased risk of PID or not? Is the risk the same as with a tampon, less, or greater? My doctor seems to think that anything apart from a maxi-pad holds bacteria in the vaginal canal for too long, but maxi-pads are so 8th grade. I can't go back! What have you all learned/been told?

| I've been lurking around here for something like a year & a half & finally decided to join up. I've been a corset maker for about 15 years, do repro antique clothing for my own sinister purposes, and make jewelery that no one in their right mind would wear. Keeps me off the street. I spent most of my holiday weekend playing around with silicone molds and plastic & came up with these guys. The one on the left is sort of a last-minute thing when I found an earring that fit the molded piece exactly. The one on the right was what occupied most of my weekend. Both pins are molded from antique typewriter parts and the pin on the right has a photo copied from a Victorian mourning pin in my collection. The amber lens obscuring the photo is accidental but I really like the effect, sort of makes it a bit mysterious, as though age or misuse has fogged it a bit. I think I got the paint looking like grease & rust. I'd prefer metal but my apartment is completely lacking in torches & centrifuges & such, so no casting metal today. The horrible, endless manufacturing details here, including gratuitous photos of greasy old junk. | |

| Well, two, sorta.
I was thinking back about the fact that I somehow ended up leaving the con at the end of Saturday night and forgetting to say goodbye to roughly a boatload of people. Maybe a barge-load. Darn.
But that led to the other thought, which is that I wish I had spent more time with every single one of the people that I spent time with this weekend. I guess that's the mark of a really good weekend.

| Hi there! We're moving for the second time in 4 months and I'm worried about losing mail. For the first move, which we thought was permanent, we put in a change of address with the post office. So we're still receiving forwarded mail from our old address. Well we're moving again in 2 weeks (this time permanently for sure!) and I'm worried that two changes of address will cause us to lose mail.
Does anyone know what happens if mail sent to address #1 is then sent to address #2 per our first change of address request? Will it be forwarded again to address #3, or will it sit here at #2 where we will no longer be? We will of course change over all important mail to address #3 asap, but I'm still concerned about some being lost in the shuffle.
I know we should have gotten a PO box or something to begin with, but we thought this first move was permanent. Ugh.
Thank you for any advice you can provide.
ETA: Address #1 was in NYC. Addresses #2 and #3 are in the same NJ town.
